The upscale River Oaks Country Club was the venue for The Star of Hope 'Haute for Hope' 14th annual Media Celebrity Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, May 11, 2012.
The arriving guests were greeted with refreshments and had the chance to preview items for the live auction.
The event was chaired by Dee Dee Marsh and Kelly Weinzierl and honored The Junior League of Houston. The program started with a Welcome by Star of Hope President and CEO Hank Rush, followed by the remarks of special guest Amber Thomas. Elizabeth Rush recognized the event chairs, before Hank Rush introduced the Honorees.
A live auction followed and lunch was served. In the meantime Houston Media Models got ready in the back area and it was a very lively atmosphere with a lot of photo shootings.
Dana Tyson and Greg Hurst emceed the luncheon and the fashion show and told a short story about each media model, while Vibraphonist Harry Sheppard provided the background music.
Guest had a lot of fun watching the show and learning some personal facts about each modeling person. The 14th annual luncheon was another success.
