The home of Kathy and John Orton was the beautiful venue for a cocktail reception to inform their guests of the cutting edge work being done at St. Luke's Hospital in the area of pulmonology. About 50 guests gathered for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and listened as host Kathy Orton began her welcome message.
Dr. Peg Van Bree, Chief Executive Officer of St.Luke's Episcopal Hospital introduced the guest speakers, who gave their short remarks about their experince at St.Luke's Episcopal Hospital: Hari Mallidi, MD, Surgical Director, Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Programs; Prasad Manian, MD, Medical Director, St.Luke's Center of Sleep Medicine and Ramachandra Sista, MD, Medical Director, Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Programs.
These three physicians represent the outstanding medical staff that helped St.Luke's pulmonology and lung transplant programs to be among the best in the nation. The evening ended with more discussions, mingling and cocktails.
