'Changing the Track of Life' was the theme of the 10th Year Anniversary Gala of Genesys Works at Union Station, the former biggest railway station in the Southwest, now the entrance lobby of the Minute Maid Park. This was the perfect venue for this outstanding event as more than 480 guests enjoyed the cocktail reception with drinks and delicious hors d'oerves overlooking the baseball field, before they moved to the grand hall for dinner.
Emcee Khambrel Marshall welcomed the guests in the back of a train car transformed as the stage. Gala Chairs Denise and Charles Hazen were introduced and thanked everybody for coming, before Founder and CEO of Genesys Works Rafael Alvarez and CEO of Accenture North America Jorge Benetiz gave their remarks.
After dinner Rafael Alvarez presented an award to El Paso Corporation, accepted by Chairman, President and CEO Doug Foshee, who then gave the keynote speech. Former student Hector Avellaneda concluded the presentation with his testimonial about Genesys Works. The celebration ended with live music by David Caceres Group.
