'Color My World' was the theme of the 2012 Luncheon and Fashion Show, hosted by the St.Luke's Episcopal Hospital. On Thursday, March 8th, 2012 more than 380 guests supported this annual event, held at the upscale River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. The supporters checked-in and mingled, before the program started at 12:00 noon.
Emcee Shelby Hodge welcomed the guests, while the luncheon chairs Denise Monteleone and Veronica Selinko-Curran, MD, both in beautiful colorful dresses, introduced the nursing program. Vice President and CNO of St.Luke's Karen Myers gave her remarks, before Jonathan Ricks talked about his experience with the nursing program.
A Fashion show followed, presented by Tootsies and 'Color My World' was indeed the theme of those beautiful dresses, colorful, young, springlike. Models and Nurse Models showed the best of Tootsies spring collection, while guest designer Lyn Devon made her personal appearance.
The luncheon was served and afterwards the guests were invited to a reception and shopping afternoon at Tootsies.
